It has the power to change sadhak;s future.
It is very much possible to change disaster into auspicious beginning, failure into winning, crying into laughing. Tantra Sadhana is something which literally transform impossible into possible. What Makes This Program Special
Classical Tantra sadhana is a pure traditional spiritual practice. Tantra is an ancient mystical teaching. Tantra sadhana ensures that sadhaka can obtain moksha (spiritual liberation) and may get siddhis (supernormal powers). The roots of tantra can be traced back to the pre-vedic civilization.
In Tantra sadhana a deity is worshipped and realization of siddhis comes through pujas (worship in the form of rituals) with Yantra (a graphic image of mystical energies of divinities). Diksha (initiation) can be given by the Guru and the technique of sadhana for realization of siddhis; then the disciple must practice in accordance with Guru's upadeshas. The only and correct goal in classical tantra is Bhakti, God-realization and that helps one connect with energies which are not visible with naked human eyes. Shanti Yoga Ashram is offering the most authentic and traditional Classical Tantra Sadhana Program.
Our school of Tantra Yoga comes out of Shanti Yoga Ashram, whose lineage is the combination of Tantra Yoga as taught by Swami Nirajananda, successor of Swami Satyananda of Bihar School of Yoga and Swami Shivalingam of Nepal, also a student of Swami Satyananda, who taught the ancient hidden secrets of Nepalese Tantra to his disciple Yogi Prakash, or Guruji, as he is known, founder of Shanti Yoga Ashram.
Nepal is the land of Tantra, where Shiva himself taught this science to his other half, Parvati. It has been preserved in its pure form from Guru to disciple ever since. It is our intention to transmit this wealth of knowledge, through adapted practices and providing a good structural means for conducive learning and integration.
At the ashram, we teach to promote experiential learning, and while you will receive comprehensive teaching in the theoretical and philosophical aspects of yoga, we feel that it is imperative for you to experience yoga in order to teach and take your own practice to the next level. Yoga is much more than Asana–it is a lifestyle, and at Shanti Yoga Ashram we want to prepare students who can live Yoga, not just do Yoga.
Our daily activities provide a balanced mix of all the aspects a great yogi embodies: disciplined daily practice, knowledge, devotion, action or work, healthy food, rest, nature, service and community. As you fully immerse yourself, you will find an openness to the process of deep learning and self evolution. We’re confident that the experience will not only prepare you to teach yoga, but give you all the tools you need to maintain a harmonious balance in your daily life.
